Eagle Valley Movie Club (The Birth)

Back in the year 2000 I called up my good friend Brett to see if he wanted to go to a movie. He said, "Sure, who else is coming?" I responded that my brother Barry would go with and maybe he would bring a friend as well. Well, low and behold he called up his friend Phil and he agreed to join us. Shortly before we were going to leave Barry said that he did not want to go. So, our now odd trio set off to see a movie and thus the Eagle Valley Movie Club was born.

Over the next several years we continued to see movies together from time to time (Barry did eventually come with, as did several others) and started to call ourselves by this name. Talk of a blog like this has been in the works for some time now but we will see how it goes. For now it will only be myself (Jake Lunemann) writing movie reviews but I am hoping to get the other two founding fathers (Phil Allen and Brett Perish) to write one occasionally.
